A unique multifunctional project in the centre of Bratislava on the site of the former Stein Brewery, offering timeless housing.
The apartment section required a complete delivery of distribution pipelines and systems for mounting radiators using thermally insulated MLC piping ranging from 16 to 50 mm in diameter.
The plumbing in the TAP WATER section involved complete delivery of distribution pipelines and systems using thermally insulated MLC piping ranging from 16 to 50 mm in diameter.
A unique modular system using MLC Riser piping ranging from 63 up to 110mm in diameter was used in the Plumbing section for waste stack connections.

Luxury High-Rise Benefits from Uponor PEX

Because of its alignment with the bustling culture of innovation in nearby New York City, the developer for 99 Hudson in Jersey City, N.J., wanted a plumbing solution that offered long-standing quality and reliability while the installing contractor required a system that offered the most efficient installation possible to maximize profitability. An Uponor AquaPEX^® plumbing system with ProPEX^® fittings met both needs to provide a durable, reliable, and efficient domestic-water system for the unit risers and in-suite plumbing.

PEX Drives Efficient In-Slab High-Rise Install

ACCO Engineered Systems sought a plumbing solution that could be installed in a concrete slab to allow for higher ceilings in the residential units. This type of installation had never been done before by any other plumbing contractor in the city of Los Angeles. Going into the project, they knew they had a tight installation timeline of plumbing one 16-unit floor per week and needed a system that facilitated a quick installation while maintaining reliability. The plumbing subcontractor, ACCO, also wanted a strong product warranty for added confidence. They have a long history record and are well versed in high-rise installations, so they wanted a brand that offered support throughout the entire construction cycle to help ensure a smooth installation from start to finish.

Apartment building Varsta Oy

Line renovations in blocks of flats can be conducted significantly faster and more easily. The Uponor R2I cassette makes for a problem-free renovation. Thanks to advanced prefabrication, the project period is shorter and the risks are lower. The As Oy Varsta company in Turku is the first R2I pilot site. The site will be completed to an expedited schedule.

New apartment building

Two blocks of rental flats were completed at Sokeritehtaantie 15 in Kirkonummi in summer 2015. The new sites were realised with Uponor's R2i elements.

The Petreliuksenrinne housing company controls a group of residential buildings that were constructed in 1969. The company manages 124 flats, which were subject to an overhaul of their water supply and sewerage systems. The floor drains, bathrooms, electricity distribution and antenna systems were also overhauled.

Underfloor cooling adds value to new construction

Postitalo, the former post office building in downtown Tampere, got a new look in 2017 when it was renovated into new commercial premises and a block of flats was built on top. The heat distribution system of choice was Uponor's underfloor heating and cooling system, which was installed in all flats.

The joint renovation project in Maunula – cost savings through co-operation

Aleksanterinkatu 5 in Lahti will be completed with R2I blocks

An 8-storey apartment is rising in a former bank district in Lahti. The target will contain 265 apartments and is designed by A1 Arkkitehdit Oy and will be built by Nuorisosäätiö. There are 256 rental apartments reserved for students on floors 2-7. Uponor R2I blocks will be installed in all of the student-apartments in connection with bathroom and kitchen elements. Aleksi 5 is the first new destination in which R2I blocks are being delivered and in which sound-absorbing Decibel drains are used.
